The edition used here was K.Krishnamoorthy's critical edition (Delhi: Motilal Banarsidass, 1982).

I converted and reformatted the electronic edition keyed in by Rajani Arjun Shankar (who does not give his source text). This text is available at the Sanskrit documents site: http://sanskrit.gde.to/ or http://lavanya.aros.net/sanskrit/

I added the Prakrit texts of verses for which he only gave the chaya and added a few references where I could find them.

Otherwise, Mr. Shankar's edition was remarkably free of errors and I am likely to have added as many as I removed. Jan Brzezinski 2004-01-28
