The work consists of fifty aphorisms. Each sutra is accompanied by a Sanskrit gloss by the author. Bhaktivinoda wrote an even lengthier Bengali commentary with numerous quoted pramanas, mostly from sruti and Gita, but for the time being that is not being published.
