This is the Bengali translation of the 10th Canto of the Bhagavata Purana by Maladhara Vasu, aka Gunaraja Khan. It is praised in the Caitanya-caritamrta as one of those classics of Krsna poetry written before the time of Caitanya. It seems to have been written around the beginning of the 15th century. The first edition of the text was published by Thakura Bhaktivinoda who claims in his introduction that the Sri Krsna-vijaya is the oldest work in Bengali. Since then the Sri Krsna-kirtana (~1350) has claimed that title. This is just the first chapter, a mere taste only. More will be added later as opportunity arises.
