This work of Jīva Gosvāmī is based on the editions by Puridas, Nitya-svarupa Brahmachari's 1907 edition, published by the Devakinandan Press in Vrindavan, as well as additional manuscripts.

This work is not to be confused with the work of the same name by Vishwanath Chakravarti. That too is a work of asta-kaliya-lila, but in the form of a prayer rather than description. This work of Jiva is also unique in its svakiya optic of the lila.

(b) śrī-dhāma-vṛndāvana-stha-śrī-devakīnandanākhya-yantre śrī-nitya-svarūpa-brahmacāriṇā mudritaḥ prakāśitaś ca | śrī-caitanyābdā 422 (1907).
(P) (ed) Puri Das Mahaśaya. Kalkata 1951. This is refered to whenever his chosen reading does not match ours.
Puri Das's (ka) and (kha) are Barāhanagara Śrī-Gaurāṅga-grantha-mandira's MSS 271 and 710. (ga) is Baṅgīya Sāhitya Pariṣad MS 22.
