Amar Sagar Lake Of Jaisalmer

Amar Sagar Lake is located on the outskirts of the Jaisalmer, which is close to the citadel of 17th century and was constructed by Maharawal Akhai Singh. The Palace which is located in the proximity of the Jaisalmer city has many apartments, ponds with Chhatris which are used as crematorium, wells, etc. It is said that the wells within the Palace are constructed by Prostitutes. Amar Singh was a devotee of Lord Shiva which was built in the 18th century and made of white marble. It is also known for its intricate murals and five-storey haveli. It is worth-visiting that attracts a large number of tourists every year like Taj Mahal in Agra and if you are going to visit this place keep agra taj mahal timings in your mind.
