Simon Haas’s academic background is in Law (BA, Cambridge) and the Study of Religions (MSt, Oxford). His academic interests include Caitanya Vaisnavism, syncretism and eclecticism, textual reuse, and responses to religious difference. Combining Law and Religion, Simon also specializes in the analysis of norms in statements on interfaith relations. He is currently working on a doctoral research project at the University of Oxford on the ontology of the self in the Caitanya Vaisnava tradition.
