Nrisingha-stotram :: Sridhara Svamin
Download DOC
Description
These verses are taken from Sridhara Svamin's Bhavartha-dipika to the Sruti-stuti (10.87.14-41). I thought it would be interesting to see them taken out of context as they have in (ed.) Nisikanta Sanyal, Sri Sri Stava-ratna-mala. Calcutta: Bagbazar Gaudiya Math, 1992.
Some of the verses have a distinct Mukunda Mala type of feel to them, showing that South Indian flavor that Hardy pointed out in Madhavendra Puri, though it is not sringara rasa. Interesting. Jagat 2006-04-17 1.01 (2006-04-25) Source texts
