This contains 1317 verses of the Madhyahna lila. As usual, the vast majority of the verses are taken from Govinda-lilamrita (751), with Krishnahnika-kaumudi providing 164 and Krishna-bhavanamrita 116. Altogether, 28 different works are cited.

The edition used here is Haridas Das's 1949 edition, reprinted from the Haribol Kutir in 1982.

Besides being reformatted, it now contains the first three chapters of Bhavana-sara-sangraha, a collection of verses compiled by Siddha Krishnadas Babaji of Govardhan from various Gaudiya Vaishnava works built around the theme of the asta-kaliya-lila.
