Rtu-samhara :: Kalidasa
Download DOC
Description
Kalidas's influence on Sanskrit literature is so great that direct evidence of it is clear even in texts written more than a thousand years after his death. The theme of this work--sad-rtu-varnanam--is found in many Gaudiya works, like Govinda-lilamrtam, Sankalpa-kalpa-druma, etc. The text used here is taken from Chowkhamba Vidyabhavan Sanskrit Granthamala 16, Hindi trans. Kedarnath Sharma Sahityayan, 4th edition, 1986. (Jagat 2003-09-28)

I just noticed the following alternative encoding accompanied by a translation at http://www.geocities.com/desirajuhrao/RS/sarga1/rs_1_frame.htm
I haven't looked at either to make a judgment. |
