Description
This is one of several small Sanskrit books written by Bhaktivinoda Thakur in the early 1890's in which he summarizes in abbreviated form his understanding of Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy. In each of these books--Tattva-viveka, Tattva-sutra, Krishna-samhita and Amnaya-sutra--the main text is written in Sanskrit, but is accompanied with an expansive Bengali commentary. This edition of Amnaya-sutra has the verses quoted by BVT in his commentary (one each from Sruti, Smriti and the Bengali tradition or other later commentators). Those verses are included here, but not the Bengali text.
