Kadambara-svikarana-karika :: Bharata Muni
Download PDF
Description
This text is a verse text that claims to teach the meanings of the Kadambara-svikarana-sutra (also found in this collection). It seems to have little relationship to that text, however. It does provide an interesting peek into the idealized sex lives of medieval upper-class Indians (Hindus), however. It is attributed to Bharata, the king-ancestor of the Pandavas and the Kauravas. From the language, though, the text is clearly much much much later.
